It's Playtime: Rolling in the Mud

Last week was International Mud Day (June 29th) and boy were their tons of ideas on It's Playtime!  But you don't have to wait another year to play in the mud.  Check out these great posts and get your mud on!

Create some faux mud of your own for sensory play with this Mud Dough Recipe shared by From Chalkboards to Strollers.

Join Pre-school Play and let your child create some Mud Pictures using paper and natural elements.

Growing a Jeweled Rose shared over 30 Muddy Activities!  I think my favorite is the Mud Pit.  I'd like to play in it.  Who knew there were so many ways to enjoy the mud?

Cars and mud, what could be better?  Check out this Monster Jam Small World from Playground Laboratory.

There were many other mud related activities shared on last week's It's Playtime.  Please go back and check them out!

If you were featured this week, don't forget to grab your special "featured button."

These activities plus more can be found over on the It's Playtime Pinterest Board.  Happy Pinning!
Now, on to this weeks play date!

  1. I love the mud monster jam! All I need to do is figure out some sort of mud play set that would go good with princess stuff.
