Best of the Best of 2011 & Blog Hop

Happy New Year faithful (and new) readers.  I can't believe I've been blogging for a whole year now and have developed some fantastic relationships with you and other bloggers.

It's been a great year.  I've already shared with you the Top 5 Posts of 2011.  But as with many things, sometimes your favorite isn't the most popular.  So now I give you....

My favorite activity of 2011

I chose this post because I feel it embraces the spirit of Messy Kids.  Art is about creating without limits.  For kids, art is creating and exploring; finding creativity in everyday items.  For Toilet Art (a title coined by my daughter) the kids from my mom's group painted with toilet plungers, toilet brushes, and kitchen scrubbers.  They painted circles, mixed colors, and made a fantastic mess.  It was freedom of expression without direction and they loved it!

Do you have a favorite activity from 2011?

Now it's time to share your favorite activity/post on the blog hop below.  Please, only share 1 post from the past year.  Not a blogger?  Then check out all the wonderful activities shared by the bloggers listed.
